Wu Xinming led a delegation to America to carry out economic, trade and cultural exchanges

From 5th to 8th June local time, Wu Xinming, Party Secretary of Nantong, led a delegation to carry out economic, trade and cultural exchanges in the United States.
Wu Xinming and the delegation met with representatives of Nantong entrepreneurs in America, and brought kind greetings from their hometown. He hoped that Nantong entrepreneurs in America could play the role as a bridge and link to promote local non-governmental exchanges between China and America, promote more Nantong entrepreneurs to return to Nantong for development and more Nantong talents to return to Nantong to start business, introduce more high-quality projects and high-end talents to settle in Nantong, and work together to build our hometown well.
Wu Xinming and the delegation went to the city hall of Sunnyvale, California, visited Mayor Larry Klein and former Mayor Tony Spitaleri, and carried out in-depth exchanges on strengthening the friendly cooperation between the cities.
Wu Xinming and the delegation also visited Dai Fan, Director of California- China Climate Institute and Special advisor of California Governor Gavin Newsom, Zhou Nan, the former director of international department and chief scientist of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory of the United States Department of Energy, etc. They carried out in-depth exchanges on working together to tackle climate change, development of green energy, building of zero-carbon parks, etc., to promote discovery and cooperation in Nantong.
Wu Xinming and the delegation visited enterprises including ASC Therapeutics and the headquarters of Plug and Play in the Silicon Valley, held discussions with representatives from biotechnology enterprises in the Bay Area, Vista Robotics and high-tech companies in the Silicon Valley, and had in-depth exchanges on carrying out industrial integration and practical cooperation promotion.
While in the United States, Wu Xinming and the delegation also went to relevant enterprises, and talked about the acceleration of implementation of major projects in Nantong.
